I was running out of days to get a sail in Feb. !!! So with a good tide at Levington and a balmy 5 degrees I was at thre marina by Eleven, having seen two buzzards and a flock of Redpolls on the way :) North East is offshore so it was hard to judge how strong the wind was, so went big and it was fine.I had several runs along the River Orwell from Levington corner nearly to Pin Mill and there were thousands of waders on the mud flats including 50 or so Avocets :) I did have one disaster when I put my knee through my 9.4 :( - ebay here I come !!! When my hands got cold I came ashore at the Bay or White Cottage to warm up, the sun even came out in the afternoon - so not a bad couple of hours in the cold :)
